WELCOME...
College Park is one of Greensboro's most diverse and interesting neighborhoods. A small enclave located between the University of North Carolina to the East and the neighborhood of Sunset Hills to the West, College Park is home to modest bungalows and grand manor houses - the central point being College Park located in the middle of the neighborhood. Developed during the peace and prosperity of the 1920s, College Park was Greensboro's first true automobile suburb as witnessed by many of the early homes having garages. Development continued through the 1930s and 1940s which gave way to an expansive array of architectural styles - from Mediterranean and Colonial Revival to Tudor and Neo-Classical Revival.
Today, College Park is a vibrant community with an eclectic mix of students and young professionals to corporate executives and retirees. The sidewalk lined streets give way to a period when neighbors knew and interacted with each other and today they still do.
